Philips invented the air fryer and still makes the one with the best heat circulation ('Rapid Air'). The Indian range now sells under the NA model numbers; the older HD numbers are the same machines in earlier bodies.

Which size?

Dial or digital?
A dial is simpler and cheaper and never stops working. Digital gives presets and exact minutes, which help if the fryer will be used by several people. Both cook identically.
Running cost and tips
A 1400 W fryer running 15 minutes uses about a third of a unit – around ₹3 a batch. Preheat 3 minutes, shake the basket once, and brush oil on the food rather than pouring it in. The basket and pan go in the sink with a soft sponge; never use a steel scrubber on the coating. If the coating ever wears, we keep replacement baskets and pans for every Philips model on this list.
