Smoothie maker, nutri-blender or mixer grinder?
A mixer grinder makes a smoothie too, but you wash a 1.5 L jar for one glass. A smoothie maker blends in the glass. A 'nutri' blender has a stronger motor and a flat blade that pulverises seeds and nuts; a basic mini blender is fine for banana, mango and curd. Tips
Liquid first, then soft fruit, then ice; never run dry.
Pulse ice three or four times before a continuous run.
Rinse the blade immediately; do not soak the base.
