Which trimmer for whom?
A gift under ₹1,000: BT1230 (batteries, nothing to go wrong).
Daily stubble: BT3302 or BT3435.
Beard, hair and body in one kit: MG3750 or the Series 5000.
Someone who already has a trimmer: NT3650 nose trimmer or an electric shaver (see below).
For a clean shave rather than a trim, read our electric shaver guide.
Chargers and spares
The part that gets lost is the charger. We stock the original Philips adaptors – Type 1 and Type 2 for the BT/QG/MG series and the HQ87 USB adaptor for the BT3301/MG5930 – plus combs and blade heads, so a trimmer bought here stays in use.
This guide is part of our Diwali 2026 appliance gift guide – every post in the series carries today's shop price and a link to the product page.
