Rotary vs foil, and why Philips

Philips makes rotary shavers – three round heads that follow the jaw and neck, which suits Indian beard growth that goes in several directions. Foil shavers shave in straight lines and are better for very short daily stubble. Both of these are rated for use with gel in the shower, and the heads rinse under a tap.
